The WAYFINDER is a unique and innovative product that has already recieved the highest levels of interest from the fire industry. Designed as a secondary enhancement of existing fire alarm systems, WAYFINDER offers a low coct and practical solution to help improve safety in all buildings and corridors. In situations of emergency evacuation, especially when confronted by a power failure, the WAYFINDER will guide you to the nearest fire exit. Your cleary identified escape route will save you critical time and potential lives in the event of an evacuation. In smoky or dark conditins it prevents panic and helps find your nearest means of escape.
WAYFINDER should be part of every fire risk assessment.

WAYFINDER is a directional beacon which offers visual guidance to the NEAREST fire exits in the event of an alarm situation. Once an alarm/siren has been triggered Wayfinder's internal technology "PICKS UP" the distinct frequency of the alarm bells/sirens and self activates within 20 seconds of a continuous alarm.

WAYFINDER units begin to ativate by way of ultra bright LED's forming an arrow shape and flashing the direction of the nearest available fire exit. Vital guidance is given to people to manoeuvre through long, possibly smoke filled corridors and up and down stairwells.

WAYFINDER units are typically placed along corridors and stairwells at skirting or waist height to maximise its visual flashing directional arrow in the event of dark/smoky conditions which can obscure normal fire exit signs.

WAYFINDERS automatically turn themselves off after a sustained period of no alarm sounds and are ready to activate again.
