NITON is the world leader in portable X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technology.

Application:

Analysis of Metal alloys for PMI, Scrap metal recycling, QA/QC and precious metals analysis, as well as analysis of soils and sediments, environmental monitoring, lead in paint assessment, geochemical mapping, coatings/plating analysis and much more

Product Information:

• A NITON instrument can provide both qualitative (what elements are present) and quantitative (percent composition of these elements) analysis.

• Typically, analyzer will quantify a suite of elements including Titanium, Vanadium, Chromium, Manganese, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, copper, Zinc, Zirconium, Selenium, niobium, Molybdenum, Palladium, Silver, Tin, Hafnium, Tantalum, Tungsten, Rhenium, Bismuth and Lead.

• A short, 2-3 second test provides a positive grade match from a library of stored alloy spectral signatures or "fingerprints". A 5-10 second test provides an approximate chemical analysis and grade identification from a library of stored min/max specifications.

• Measurement data are stored instrument memory for later recall or download to PC. The instrument stores up to 3,000 measurements internally for download and report generation to provide complete documentation and accountability.

• Best of all, the XLt weighs only 3.0 lbs. (1.4 kg)
