Product Description:

Ambest´s Thread-On Spill Containment Manhole is designed to collect spilled product that occurs during normal tank filling or in the event of tank overfill on underground storage tanks. Its mission is to prevent spilled product from entering the soil near the fill and vapor return riser connections. The spill containers catch spillage to help prevent soil contamination and groundwater pollution

The spill bucket is threaded directly onto 4" NPT or BSPT fill and vapor return riser pipes. An integral pull to push, all brass, drain valve allows contained product to be drained into the tank.

Design Advantages

Solid Construction: The durable and flexible polyethylene shell is designed to move with natural ground movements. Cast Iron Base: Ambest´s base design is one of the most reliables in the industry. The polyethylene shell is clamped both to the cast iron base and the deflector ring, with durable NBR gaskets ensuring a long lasting watertight seal. The base easily thread onto a 4" tank riser. Heavy Duty Cast Iron Deflector Ring: The cast iron ring provides protection from heavy traffic and truck plows. It´s unique design allows for water to run away from the spill container top, eliminating water collection in the bucket. Cover: Spill containers are supplied with a rain tight composite cover. Drain Valve: The specially designed metallic drain valve allows emptying of contained product back to the storage tank without messy plugs or pumps. By pulling the key ring located towards the top of the spill container, the valve pushes open to allow product to drain. Highway 20 Rated (DOT H20): Ambest Spill Containers and Manholes exceed the D.O.T. H20 requirements. Capacity: Ambest grade level Spill Container is available in 5 gallon capacity.
