Auger BShK-2DM is intended for drilling the coal blind mining strips of width 1.9-2.1 m and length 85 m out of coal seams of thickness 0.6-0.9 m and cuttability up to 350 kN/m, which are not self-inflammable but gas and dust hazardous. The complex has the following advantages in comparison with traditional technologies: + ensures coal excavation without attending personnel in the working zone; reduces injury and occupational disease rate; makes it possible to install three dimension-types of drill bits of diameter 625, 725 and 825
mm with the elements of the auger drill, that increases the profitability of coal excavation in the
seams of different thickness; ensures mining of coal out of thin seams of 0.6-0.9 m thick including the seams, which can
not be mined by other methods, as well as guard coal pillars that makes it possible to increase the
quantity of coal excavated and reduce its losses.....etc.
